Needs Center. Believe. Belong.
we are glad you stopped by!
Our Community and Member's Needs Center is a quick "one-stop-shop" to assist with the exploration of our Church and the services we provide to both our church members and those in need around our Hastings community.
We encourage you to contact us directly if you need further assistance or if you are unable to find a direct resource you are looking for.
We encourage everyone to consider planning their service, and have provided a pre-planning form here. The church will keep this on file for your family and loved ones, to help them as they are celebrating your memory. If you need time to think about the details, hard copies are available in the church office.
For those who are planning the service of a loved one without a planning form on file, we encourage you to set up a meeting time with the funeral director you have chosen, who will assist you with planning. The Pastor usually attends these meetings to provide additional support and guidance.
If you are struggling after the loss of a loved one, we encourage you to speak with the Pastor.
The facilities and equipment of the First Presbyterian Church exist for the primary purpose of being used by its members through its ministries. Our priority of use is first for worship and the ministries within the church, church members, and then community groups and events. We encourage you to contact us so we can discuss all the details and requirements of utilizing the building. We also encourage you to look at the online church calendar, which is the most up-to-date resource for the facility schedule.
Please read the facility use packet prior to completing the use application. The application may be completed online.
Please note that a current Certificate of Liability and Property Damage insurance coverage naming First Presbyterian Church of Hastings as an additional insured MUST be on file prior to the date of the event by all rental groups to First Presbyterian Church for the purpose of covering liability and property damage or accidents that might occur on church property.
If you find yourself in need of financial assistance programs for food, shelter and other areas of help, please click here for the BCRN list of local resources. We also encourage you to contact Barry County Cares (formerly Love, Inc) at 269-948-9555. They are there to help guide you to which community services may be able to assist with your need.
